Managing On-Site Operations: Team Manager’s Perspective

At Eryk, our Team Managers (TMs) are important in ensuring the success of the projects on-site. With years of experience, they help oversee operations, maintain safety standards, and drive efficiency on-site. They’re not just managing tasks and timelines. They guide people, solving problems, and make sure the work gets done safely, to the highest standard, and on time.

In complex industrial installations where timelines are tight and unexpected challenges emerge daily, it is thanks to the proactive leadership of our Team Managers that the projects continue to move smoothly.

Eryk Team Managers;

  • Ensure seamless communication across all levels
  • Prioritise safety at every stage
  • Anticipate problems and find solutions quickly
  • Keep the project on schedule, avoid downtime and minimise risk

Our Team Managers bring more than just expertise. They have unique skills to motivate our skilled technicians and coordinate with all stakeholders. This involves managing people, tasks, and ensuring good relations with customers. The overall goal is to ensure smooth coordination and efficiency of multiple installation tasks on-site while maintaining quality and safety.

See the different perspectives from some of our Team Managers:

“I always try to instill the principle: think and anticipate the consequences of your actions, both at work and in life. Work in a way that ensures you always return home safely to your loved ones.” Stanisław Jaguszewski

From my previous experiences, I’ve found that a good team doesn’t require any particular motivation; a good atmosphere and successful completion of assigned tasks naturally drive further action.” Mateusz Maciąg

“In 2018, I became a Team Manager. I value the work of the whole team, and it’s number one for me because without the team’s work, there’s no success… we take on tasks together as a team, accomplish them together, help each other, and are always together in successes and failures. I always try to create a good atmosphere among my team – both at work and outside of it.” Artur Polcyn

Navigating challenges on-site

As it goes about handling challenges, Patryk Cabrowski, who recently transitioned from a Team Manager position on projects to working in the office as a Key Account Engineer in the Project Management Department, adds;

“From more recent projects, the most challenging for me was a large project in Germany in the biogas factory. I managed a team of over 60 people. On top of that, the Project Manager on the customer’s side was one of the most difficult people I’ve encountered in my entire career – both in terms of personality and work style. I really had to demonstrate a lot of patience and composure. It was difficult, but the most important thing for me was the customer’s satisfaction, and through that, I learned how to handle very demanding situations.”
