Position Overview
Are you looking to grow your career in Salesforce and make a real impact?
We’re looking for a motivated Junior Salesforce Developer with 1-3 years of experience and a passion for optimizing business processes. In this role, you’ll support the development and customization of our Salesforce platform, assist with system integrations, and collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to improve internal workflows.
As part of a dedicated 4-person internal team, you will focus on automating workflows and driving innovation across the organization. You will report directly to Salesforce Architect and work closely with internal stakeholders to streamline operations and develop innovative functionalities that enhance business processes.
Working Structure
The position is a full on-site role anchored at Eryk Limited located in Lagos, Nigeria. The position requires a standard 40-hour work week, with 8 hours per day. Your working hours will follow Central European Time (CET) to align with our sister companies in Europe and you will be required to travel occasionally; 2 times per year, on business trips to Europe.
Role Responsibility
Development and Customization:
- Develop custom logic using pro code tools like Apex classes and Triggers, Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages to support business requirements and Low-Code tools like Flows and process automation.
- Assist with release cycle to implement and deploy new features or updates to existing features.
- Support new and existing integrations between Salesforce and third-party software to automate workflows.
- Carry out declarative configuration with the user of no-code solutions such as Reports and Dashboards and AI agents to support business in data driven decision making.
- Support the internal administrator on the configuration and maintenance of integrated applications like Scrive.
- Maintenance and support on 3rd party software that are critical to the smooth operations of the business.
Testing:
- Write Unit tests for Apex classes and Triggers according to predefined standards as set by the Salesforce architect.
- Conduct Integration and End-To-End tests on features developed inhouse to verify functionality.
- Conduct research-based testing of potential 3rd party apps in test environments to determine suitability of such apps in satisfying business requirements.
Contribution to Technical Documentation:
- Create and actively maintain documentation for internal processes.
Required experience
- 1-3years of hands-on experience in Salesforce ecosystem with focus on development.
- Familiarity with Apex classes and Triggers, Visualforce and Lightning Web Components.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Flows, Reports and Dashboards and general Salesforce administrative tools.
- Familiarity with Testing and Deployment.
- Some familiarity with Salesforce Developer Experience (sfdx cli), git and GitHub is desirable.
- Understanding of some best practices in the Salesforce Ecosystem as it applies to solution development.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Bachelor’s degree (Bs) in computer science or any related field.
Nice to Have:
- Power Platform Familiarity – exposure to Power Automate (for flow automation across MS365 apps) and Power BI (for reporting and dashboards)
- Basic SharePoint Knowledge – understanding of SharePoint Online for managing documents, workflows, or integrating Salesforce data with SharePoint when needed
