At the end of October, we co-hosted the TECHPRO4EUROPE Dissemination Seminar in Szczecin, alongside partners from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Nigerian Board of Technical Education (NBTE), and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) through the EU-funded Mobility Partnership Facility (MPF).
This event presented a platform to discuss important subjects ranging from Europe’s demographic challenges, Nigeria’s young workforce and the role of labour mobility in bridging skills gaps. It also featured interactive panel sessions exploring experiences from Eryk’s Apprenticeship Program and highlighting the importance of vocational education and cross-border cooperation to bridge the skill gaps across Europe.
Most importantly, it was a great opportunity for Eryk to show how we have been able to build a thriving pool of young technicians from Africa over the years, ready to work and learn internationally. Jens-Christian Møller, President of Eryk Group, shared highlights on Eryk’s journey and partnerships in developing young technical talent achieved through Eryk’s international Apprenticeship Program.
Special thanks go to our esteemed speakers and guests who enriched the conversations with their unique insights.
