“Things fell into place with Eryk immediately: good communication, experienced and efficient installation team, and the potential to handle our target markets, including the ones we are yet to open for ourselves – these are all elements that make our life easier. We are looking forward to more installations together and we are sure that they will be even more successful.”
Julian Grad, Business Development Manager, Ascendor GmbH

Our cities, towns, villages… our world today needs elevators and home lifts. By and large, we recognize their contribution to the quality of life we live, and the market for such products increases at a steady rate, especially because it is an investment that will continue to be a tangible benefit for families and small businesses for many years to come.
Ascendor is an Austrian manufacturer of premium home lifts and accessibility solutions, and Eryk is a Polish-Danish service provider of electrical and mechanical services with an international drive.
In the framework of the cooperation that started in 2020, both companies explore markets that are partly new for them – Scandinavian market for Ascendor and home lifts for Eryk.
The cooperation is a result of a strategic decision at Ascendor to move outside their domestic market and sell their products abroad. This means that Ascendor either needs to deploy their own teams to installation sites, at the cost of limited production capacity at home, or engage an external service provider, at the risk of not delivering top quality or missing installation deadlines.
Julian Grad, Ascendor’s Business Development Manager comments this decision: We see that there is a lot of potential on the foreign markets. In fact, it is my job to use this potential and translate it into business. We also see that our manufacturing capacity in our home region in Austria is at its peak and we do not have much room for maneuver. For these reasons, it makes sense for Ascendor to invest into a new business relationship with service provider from outside and aim for long-term benefits.
After an experiment with a freelancer from the Baltics –“not great, not terrible,” Ascendor also gave Eryk a try, just to have an alternative, and the decision afterwards was easy. Julian Grad says, Things fell into place with Eryk immediately: good communication, experienced and efficient installation team, and the potential to handle our target markets, including the ones we are yet to open for us – these are all elements that make our life easier. We are looking forward to more installations together and we are sure that they will be even more successful.
