Powerful women driving success at Eryk

Industries thrive when expertise, leadership, and innovation are embraced. At Eryk, we understand that this helps our people drive efficiency and quality in every project—regardless of gender. Our female leaders and specialists play an important role in delivering technical excellence and value to our customers, ensuring projects run seamlessly and meet industry demands.

Meet some of them below:👇

Chizaram Obiakor – Project Manager, Remote IT Services

With strategic leadership in IT, Chizaram aligns technology with business goals, which is key to delivering successful IT solutions. “I enjoy solving problems that bridge technology and business needs, finding satisfaction in driving innovation and bringing projects to life. She has a strong background in technology with over 8 years of experience in software development and ensures our remote IT projects deliver lasting value by supervising the quality of our teams alongside ensuring we recruit people with the right competencies.

One of her most impactful projects was integrating an ERP with a CRM for pharmacies and manufacturers, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency. “The project demanded deep technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and exacting execution.

Beyond execution, Chizaram believes in “clear communication, technical mentorship, and empowerment,” ensuring teams stay engaged, proactive, and ready to deliver results.

“I have chosen to let the quality of my work and its outcomes speak for themselves. By continuously developing my technical knowledge and leadership capabilities, I ensure my contributions remain valuable.”  Read more here

Melissa Szczucka – Team Leader on industrial projects

Eryk’s industrial projects demand precision and efficiency, and Melissa, one of our industrial service Team Leaders, ensures just that. She thrives in an ever-changing work environment, saying, “I decided to become an electrician when I realized that I find it hard to be tied to one place – I need various challenges, collaboration with different people, constant change, and no stagnation. That’s what I love most about this job – our environment is always changing, each project brings completely new challenges, different people, and new locations.”

In overseeing complex installations, she shares that “even the hardest and most thankless job can be done in a good atmosphere so that at the end of the day, everyone leaves with a smile on their face… If someone makes a mistake… we just look for solutions to fix it.”

By breaking industry stereotypes and leading with confidence, she proves that skill and determination speak louder than assumptions. “I’ve always worked with men, so I’m used to some of them doubting my skills or abilities at first. However, they usually quickly reassess the situation… stereotypes exist and will continue to exist, but it’s not worth worrying about them. Instead, it’s better to keep moving forward on your chosen path.”

Her leadership is built on the idea that every challenge is met with a solution-focused mindset in overcoming technical challenges and ensuring that Eryk meets industry standards and customer expectations on time and in good standards. Read more here
