Every project at Eryk begins with two non-negotiables: safety and quality. Each one shapes how we work and support customers on-site. It begins with careful planning, risk assessment, and team briefings. It continues on-site, where every technician follows strict procedures, uses the right tools, and works in close coordination with project leaders. We carry out quality checks, audits, and open feedback to reinforce them after completing the work.
A detailed overview of our safety and quality management practices is contained in our Integrated Management System (IMS) document.
Meet the person behind the process
Everyone takes responsibility to manage safety carefully and maintain quality at every step. But leading this effort is our Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Compliance Officer, Agata.
Her role? She ensures we deliver what we promise: safe, compliant, and high-standard installation services. Also, she keeps our projects under control, not just with documents, but by maintaining a strong safety culture. Agata is always on the move, from Denmark to Belgium and recently to Paris, visiting project sites and ensuring our services meet required standards.
What is it like working as an HSEQ Compliance Officer?
Being an HSEQ Compliance Officer at Eryk means being deeply involved in the entire lifecycle of a project – from the early planning stages right through to final delivery. My job is not only to ensure we comply with regulations but also to support our people in creating a culture where safety and quality are natural parts of daily work. It’s hands-on, collaborative work. The ultimate goal is to make sure every person goes home safe, and every project meets our quality promise.
What’s one thing about health, safety, or quality people often overlook but you think is essential?
People often focus on the visible checks – the safety equipment, documentation, or inspection reports. But what’s just as important is the mindset: how people think and act when no one is watching. A strong safety and quality culture isn’t built overnight. It’s about being proactive, not just compliant. When everyone feels responsible, that’s when we prevent problems before they happen. And that’s where real value lies – not just for Eryk, but for our customers too.
From your view, how can customers support high HSEQ standards during project execution?
Open communication and early involvement make a big difference. When customers share detailed information about the site, processes, and potential risks ahead of time, we can prepare more effectively and align our safety measures from day one.
Another key factor is collaboration. When customers actively engage in safety briefings, support access to proper facilities, or reinforce the importance of following procedures, it sets the tone for the whole project. It shows that safety and quality are shared priorities, not just something we’re expected to deliver alone. In the end, the best outcomes happen when both sides work as partners, committed to doing things right, not just fast.
Outside of work, Agata enjoys cycling and nature.
For our customers, safety and quality mean more. This includes the following:
We understand that industrial environments are complex and fast-paced. That’s why we place a firm focus on safety and compliance, so our customers can stay focused on their business. It is not just about meeting expectations, but also about building long-term trust, one project at a time. To achieve this, we continue to take proactive steps by adapting to evolving regulations, investing in training, and equipping our people to deliver with confidence.
