What inspired you to become an IT project manager?
Moving into project management was an intuitive step with my background in technology. As I worked with software integrations and cloud applications, I understood the importance of correlating the technical side with the business side of the company. Fulfilling strategy execution, keeping to timelines, and coordinating the team while maintaining technical excellence was a challenge that I found fascinating.
What’s one project you’re especially proud of?
One of your notable projects was integrating an ERP with a CRM system for pharmacies and manufacturers to streamline the flow of data and enhance their business efficiency. The project demanded deep technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and exacting execution. It highlighted how successfully functioning IT initiatives and system implementation prove essential to improving business operations.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy solving problems that bridge technology and business needs, finding satisfaction in driving innovation and bringing projects to life. The combination of strategy, technology, and leadership keeps my role as a Technical Project Manager dynamic and rewarding . I also take pride in establishing clear structures and processes that enhance efficiency, ensure scalability, and create a strong foundation for long-term success
How do you motivate and manage your team effectively?
I focus on clear communication, technical mentorship, and empowerment. Setting well-defined goals, encouraging ownership, and providing growth opportunities help keep my team engaged. I also ensure we have a collaborative culture where challenges are addressed proactively and wins are celebrated.
What challenges have you faced as a woman in this field?
One of the challenges in the tech industry is its male-dominated nature, where professionals must navigate biases while demonstrating their technical expertise. I have chosen to let the quality of my work and its outcomes speak for themselves. By continuously developing my technical knowledge and leadership capabilities, I ensure my contributions remain valuable. Additionally, I actively support inclusivity in technology by mentoring others and fostering a more diverse and supportive environment.
