Handling large projects takes more than just technical skills—it requires careful planning, good coordination, and a strong focus on solving problems. At Eryk, we approach every project with the same attention to detail, ensuring we meet customer expectations on time and within scope. There is no project too big or too small for us. However, with bigger projects come additional challenges, and it is important to manage them all effectively.
Hear from our Key Account Engineer, Michal Charowski, who is often involved in handling such projects.
What defines a large project, and why does it require a proactive approach?
Projects that I define as large, due to the high number of man-hours and the significant number of technicians working on the project each week, require a high level of proactivity from the person in my position. Managing such a project, from my perspective, is not only about task management but also involves many dependencies that define its course from the very beginning.
What are the critical elements in project planning and execution?
Careful work during the planning phase, team composition, and assigning the right Team Leaders is crucial to ensure that the on-site technicians can successfully carry out their tasks from day one of the project, in line with our customers’ expectations.
Besides direct project execution, what other factors contribute to project success??
All these elements are essential and equally important. Are the people responsible for:
– authorising and legalising our technicians in the respective countries,
– organising accommodations, and
– managing our tool team.
Bringing all these elements together into a cohesive whole allows us to present ourselves well in the eyes of our customers.
Our Approach at Eryk
