The Danish Director of Polish BIC Electric (BIC), Jens-Christian Møller, received the Diploma of the Danish Export Association and His Royal Highness Henrik, Prince of Denmark’s Medal of Honour, for his support for Danish export and for his efforts in promoting Danish Corporate Social Responsibility values abroad.
The Award Ceremony took place on June 7th 2018, in the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle in Szczecin, Poland, where the Danish Ambassador to Poland, Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, handed over the Royal Export Prize. The Diploma of the Danish Export Association and His Royal Highness Henrik, Prince of Denmark’s Medal of Honour, has been awarded since 1982 to companies or persons that have made significant efforts to promote Danish products and services abroad.
Jens-Christian Møller began his business career in Denmark, where he in 1988 was nominated for the title “Young Entrepreneur of the Year”. In 2004, he founded BIC Electric in Szczecin, Poland. Today the company has over 200 employees and acts as international subcontractor providing installation and commissioning services for the construction, oil and gas, and wind power industries, often in close collaboration with other Danish export companies. BIC Electric recently received its largest order yet within the wind power industry, for the British wind farm Hornsea Project One, which is being built by Danish Ørsted.
