Building AI‑ready engineering capacity through a proven trainee and coaching model
Since 2019, Eryk has successfully trained young professionals from Nigeria through its Electrotechnical Trainee – Apprenticeship Program. Retention among Nigerian youth exceeds European peers, and several early graduates now hold management roles. The learning‑by‑coaching model is proven and scalable.
The Whitecoding Trainee Program applies this proven model to AI and software engineering. High‑potential Nigerian IT graduates are developed into productive, AI‑augmented engineers through real project work, pair programming with senior engineers, structured AI learning, and continuous coaching.
Our trainee program builds a continuous pipeline of future-ready talent, developed against a structured capability model that is designed to help companies access the specialists they increasingly struggle to find locally.
Proven track record in training and developing young professionals through our ElectroTalent model.
Pre‐screened, highly motivated young AI/IT graduates.
Fully compliant, end‐to end managed EU–Nigeria talent pipeline.
Native English proficiency.
Engineers trained directly on your technology stack and delivery standards.
Lower long‐term cost and reduced hiring risk.
Our focus is different – it is about identifying young talented IT graduates and using our proven training and coaching model to develop this talent into AI-ready engineering capabilities for our customers.

We empower global IT through African talent and Scandinavian principles—clean code, ethical practices, and premium quality.

Deliver with AI – supported architecture and clean code standards: Our focus is different – it is about identifying young talented IT graduates and using our proven training and coaching model to develop this talent into AI-fluent engineering capabilities for our customers
Trainees are trained on real partner projects, working approximately 80% of the time, remotely from Lagos, Nigeria, and 20% through on‑site postings with European partners. Eryk manages visas, mobility, and regulatory compliance based on long‑standing cooperation with Nigerian, Danish, and EU authorities.
Trainees gain career security, while partners benefit from scalable access to AI-ready engineering talent. Eryk, in turn, builds sustainable coaching capacity.
Together, we future-proof engineering organisations for the AI era and create sustainable employment opportunities in regions where youth unemployment rates are around 50%. This initiative is fully aligned with DTU’s ESG policy, supporting its commitment to playing an active role in impactful and socially responsible projects.”
