MuleSoft Developer

MuleSoft Developer

Eryk is an international technical services group delivering electrical and mechanical installations, engineering, commissioning, and IT services across a wide range of industries. With a strong presence throughout Europe and beyond, we are known for our expertise, quality, and the flexibility to adapt to diverse projects worldwide. Joining Eryk means becoming part of a genuinely international team — and building a career with room to grow well beyond your first role.

Why This Role — and Why MuleSoft

MuleSoft is a unified integration platform that lets organisations connect applications, data, and devices efficiently — with agility, scalability, and security built in. It is one of the most in-demand skills in enterprise technology today, and specialists are scarce. By building your expertise here, you position yourself for a valuable, future-proof career while directly helping our customer streamline operations and accelerate its digital initiatives. We invest in your growth: you will receive hands-on mentoring and be supported through professional certification.

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to build a specialist, high-demand skill from the ground up. As a MuleSoft Developer, you will design and build integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform — the technology that connects the applications, data, and systems modern businesses run on. You will work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams across multiple countries, and you will be fully supported and certified as you grow into the role. If you are at an early and exciting stage of your career and hungry to learn, this role is designed for you.

Who You Are

We care as much about who you are as what you already know. We are looking for someone who is:

  • Curious and driven to learn — you love picking up new technologies and ideas, and you see every project as a chance to get better.

  • Sharp and analytical — you enjoy solving problems, thinking things through logically, and figuring out how systems fit together.

  • Adaptable — you stay comfortable and effective as priorities shift and new challenges appear.

  • A natural collaborator across cultures — you enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and countries, and you communicate openly and warmly.

  • Proactive — you take initiative, ask good questions, and move things forward without waiting to be told.

  • Ambitious about your future — you want to build a long-term career and are ready to invest in becoming excellent at what you do.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio.
  • Build RESTful APIs and manage the flow of data and messages between different systems.
  • Work with AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude) to build and iterate faster.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to design scalable, reliable integrations.
  • Carry out unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Help ensure integrations meet security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Monitor, support, and continuously optimise existing integrations for performance and reliability.

What You'll Bring

You do not need years of experience — you need the right foundation and the right mindset:

  • A basic understanding of how applications communicate (APIs) over the internet.
  • Familiarity with common data formats such as JSON or XML
  • Basic programming and logical thinking (for example, exposure to Java).
  • Strong interest in integration patterns, API design, and service-oriented architecture — we’ll help you go deeper.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • A willingness to work with visual tools and structured workflows rather than writing everything from scratch.

How We'll Set You Up to Succeed

Structured onboarding (first 2 months, on-site). You’ll spend your first two months fully on-site at our service center — integrating into our processes, receiving hands-on guidance, and building a strong understanding of what our customers expect. This period is designed to set you up for success.

Hybrid working (after onboarding). Once you’ve completed onboarding and met Eryk’s hybrid-work requirements, the role moves to a flexible schedule: 2 assigned days per week on-site, and 3 days per week from your approved home location.

Benefits

  • PAYE.
  • Pension.
  • Private health insurance.
  • International placement opportunity. High-performing team members can be selected for a temporary placement at our Service Centre in Poland (3–6 weeks) — a chance to work internationally and broaden your experience. Eligibility is based on consistently strong performance, professionalism, and alignment with our values.
