Job Summary
The Integration Consultant will serve as the key contributor within our customer’s integration domain, working across the span between Data Engineers and Frontend Developers. The role focuses on both leveraging our customer’s current system‑to‑system and B2B integrations and transitioning them onto our customer’s next‑generation integration platform.
The position requires strong architectural thinking, hands‑on development capabilities, and the ability to collaborate closely across IT, OT, and the customer’s Lagos data team at Eryk Limited .
Working Structure
The position requires a standard 40-hour work week, with 8 hours per day work shift. The role will operate in a hybrid structure:
1) Supported Onboarding (First 2 Months – On-site mandatory)
For the first two months, you’ll work fully on-site at our service center. This period is designed to set you up for success – helping you integrate smoothly into our processes, receive hands-on guidance, and build a strong understanding of our customers’ delivery expectations.
2) Hybrid Structure (After Onboarding and upon meeting Eryk’s Hybrid Work requirements). After the onboarding period, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule:
- Two (2) assigned days per week on-site at our service center
- Three (3) days per week working from your approved work-from-home location

Primary Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Analysis
- Map all existing integrations including data flows, systems, customer connections, protocols, dependencies, and SLAs.
- Define the target integration architecture, including API-led connectivity, event‑driven patterns, and migration waves away from legacy solutions.
- Create documentation for data sources, integrations, and flows consistent with the standards already used by the BI team.
Design & Development
- Design, build, and maintain integrations using modern standards: REST/GraphQL APIs, SOAP, event messaging (Service Bus/Kafka), webhooks, and batch transfers (SFTP/FTPS).
- Implement EDI‑based integrations (e.g., EDIFACT, VDA/Odette) using AS2/AS4 and file‑based workflows (XML/JSON/CSV, mapping through XSLT/JSON Schema).
- Develop reusable connectors, templates, and canonical data objects to achieve consistency across the integration landscape.
